This is a follow up to my “Phantasy Friends” collection from September 2020. I drew my friends and I as various mascots from SEGA franchise.

Azure (Me) as a Chao from Sonic
Incroyable and Tex as Karaoke Cats from Yakuza
Kayne Ein as Ono Michio from Yakuza
Granola Rookanga as a Morolian from Space Channel 5

Waiting for a Bite…

I wanted to paint more natural environments, so I did a take on what that pit in the mystic ruins must look like down there.

Rhythm and Balance

A piece based off of the “White Jungle” level from Sonic Adventure 2. I set out to recreate the moody atmosphere that the stage had in the game.

Nostalogic

To further understand how the H-Pen works, I panted something inspired by the song Nostalogic (Feat. MEIKO) by Yuukiss.

Valentines Day 2021 YCH

For a limited time, I ran a Your Character Here (YCH) commission where people could have their character drawn in the a pose that I provided.

Whitty

Whitty is a character from the “Vs. Whitty” Friday Night Funkin’ mod created by Nate Anim8, KadeDev, and Sock.clip. I felt that the character would look cool drawn in something with influences in Pop Art.

DUNE

When I first herd ‘Suna no Wakuse’ (officially called ‘DUNE’ in english) I loved it. The moody and vocals and music production were something I hadn’t personally herd come from the VOCALOID scene in a while.

It wasn’t until this last year I could fully appreciate the the song’s story about moving forward in a ever changing landscape while still holding on to old feelings. After the year that 2020 has been, losing and gaining relationships, opportunities, ect, the song really hits home. Because of all of that, I wanted to paint what Hatsune Miku looked like in the music video.

Blue Hour

In December, I broke up with my first serious relationship. I thought had move passed it by this point, but I couldn’t help but still feel sad and angry, so I made something to help express my feelings.

With the first piece, I channeled my sadness at the situation. I was trying to keep it together because to this day me and my ex still occupy the same social spaces. I based the art off of the 2019 Sonic Channel art style, as I felt it’s simplistic style of coloring would get the emotions across.

The second piece was about the fury I felt afterwards. My anger was fiery and all over the place, so I thought that doing something that went out of the lines and looked almost like fire was what the piece needed.

Pro Fortnite Gamers

I play Fortnite alot with my friend Pop, and he likes to drive like a mad man in the game, so I drew a situation that we find ourselves in from time to time.
